A huge 40 days for Newcastle United and Eddie Howe

A huge 40 days for Newcastle United and Eddie Howe

After a tough few weeks for Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, followed by an international break to reflect, learn and reset, it’s fair to say the next chunk of fixtures will be absolutely massive in shaping our 2025/26 season.

Between Newcastle’s clash with Man City this Saturday and our trip to Burnley on 30th December, the final weeks of 2025 throw up a hectic schedule and huge chance for Newcastle to bounce back.

A huge 40 days for Newcastle United and Eddie Howe

Over this 40-day period there’ll be no international breaks, FIVE midweek games, two Champions League away days, a Tyne and Wear derby away at Sunderland, a Carabao Cup quarter-final at St James’ Park and four Premier League games against ‘big six’ sides, with Man City, Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd all to come.

It’s a run that will see us play 11 games in all competitions between Saturday and December 30th, with so much to play for and vast improvement needed in the league if we’re to improve on our 14th place position and worrying away form.

See our full schedule below from Man City on Saturday until the end of 2025, featuring a number of Premier LeagueChampions League and Carabao Cup fixtures, where 10 of 11 will be shown live on TV:
