Incomings are yet to occur this window, but we’ve now seen three ‘Under-21s’ head out over the past week.
Following Ben Parkinson’s permanent move to Falkirk, two more Toon talents have departed on loan today in Harrison Ashby (24) and Joe White (23).
The pair have joined Bradford City in a double deal until the end of the 2025/26 season, handing them a chance to hopefully play regularly in the Bantams’ push for promotion into the Championship.
White has just returned from an unsuccessful loan spell in League One with Leyton Orient, while Ashby has been on thee sidelines for much of 2025 after previous stints at QPR and Swansea in the Championship.
Newcastle announcement – Tuesday 13th January
Joe White and Harrison Ashby have joined League One side Bradford City on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
White, who recently returned to the club following a loan spell with Leyton Orient, joined United’s Academy in 2016 and progressed through the ranks via loan spells with Orient, Hartlepool United, Exeter City, Crewe Alexandra and MK Dons. He made his first-team debut for the Magpies in a 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth in February 2024.
Ashby, meanwhile, joined the club in January 2023 from West Ham United and made 31 appearances in all competitions last season while on loan with Queens Park Rangers.
The pair will join Graham Alexander’s side who currently sit third in League One.
Everybody at Newcastle United wishes Joe and Harrison well during their time at Valley Parade.
