UEFA confirm Rangers’ earnings from 2024/25 Europa League

Posted on February 13, 2026 by jewsport

UEFA has confirmed how much Rangers made in Europe last season, following their Europa League run to the quarter-finals.

After failing to make the Champions League at the hands of Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv via qualifiers, then-Philippe Clement’s side participated in the Europa League’s first-ever iteration of the ‘League Phase’, where they faced eight different clubs from September 2024 to January 2025, eventually reaching the quarter-final stage.

In total, the Ibrox side pocketed €20,705,000 (approximately £18million) for their efforts in the competition, which combined Qualifying Bonus, Value Pillar, League Phase, and League Ranking, as well as Round of 16 and Quarter-finals bonuses. This comes via UEFA’s 2024/25 financial report, which can read in full here.

They started off their campaign with a 2-0 win against Malmo in Sweden, before suffering a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Lyon on Matchday Two. They bounced back with a 4-0 win over Romanian outfit FCSB, which was followed by a 1-1 draw with Olympiacos in Greece.

Rangers earned a valuable 4-1 away win to Ligue 1 side Nice in France, before an English double-header against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, picking up one point against the former in the process.

They completed their League Phase with a 2-1 win against Union Saint-Gilloise, a result which secured them automatic qualification into the Round of 16 thanks to their league position, where they faced Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.

After progressing against the Turkish giants, they were eliminated in the following round by Athletic Club, losing 2-0 in the second leg after drawing at Ibrox.
