Celtic have now confirmed Rangers’ away ticket allocation for the final Old Firm derby at Parkhead after the chaotic scenes involving Hoops supporters at Ibrox on Sunday.

Posted on March 11, 2026

A verdict has been made on the number of away tickets Rangers will receive for the post-split derby at Celtic Park.

Once Celtic complete their home fixture against St Mirren, they will learn their post-split schedule games that could play a major role in deciding the destination of the title.
Only four league matches remain before the split, after which Celtic will face the other teams in the top half of the table.

Since Celtic have already travelled to Ibrox twice this season, the final league derby of the campaign will take place at Celtic Park.

Sunday’s clash ended with dramatic scenes after the final whistle.
While Celtic supporters celebrated their 4–2 penalty shootout triumph, a group of Rangers fans surged toward the away end.
Police barriers managed to hold them back, but a member of Celtic’s staff was reportedly assaulted during the chaos.

Despite the disturbances involving Rangers supporters, Celtic are still expected to honour the previous agreement and allocate Rangers the same 2,500 away tickets they were given for the January 3 fixture, according to reports.

Talks between the SPFL and police have already taken place, and there are no current plans to reduce the visiting support for the match.

Celtic will also welcome Hearts to Celtic Park after the split in what could be another crucial fixture in the title race.

There is hope that security measures will be strengthened to prevent any further issues in that section of the stadium
